    Endpoint Systems Engineer – Hybrid, Buffalo, NY Contract Pay: $45–$51/hr

    Position Overview: We’re seeking an Endpoint Systems Engineer to design, automate, and optimize enterprise endpoint solutions across Windows environments. You’ll support a major client by engineering scalable application packaging and deployment pipelines, driving SCCM optimization, and supporting Intune migration initiatives — all while partnering closely with infrastructure, security, and operations teams.

    Responsibilities:

    • Engineer and automate enterprise application packaging and deployment across Windows endpoints using SCCM, PowerShell, and PSADT.
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable packaging and deployment pipelines for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server environments.
    • Develop PowerShell automation to streamline application installs, upgrades, patching, and remediation workflows.
    • Partner with infrastructure and endpoint teams to support modern endpoint management initiatives, including SCCM optimization and Intune migration strategies.
    • Troubleshoot complex application deployment failures, dependency conflicts, and packaging issues across enterprise environments.
    • Build and maintain automated deployment packages, task sequences, and configuration baselines within SCCM.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize application packaging frameworks and deployment methodologies.
    • Perform application compatibility testing, remediation, and deployment validation across Windows platforms.
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, packaging standards, and automation frameworks.
    • Mentor junior engineers and review packaging workflows, deployment processes, and automation scripts.
    • Work cross-functionally with infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure secure and compliant endpoint configurations.
    • Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for endpoint engineering, automation, and deployment tooling.

    Required Skills:

    • Expertise in enterprise application packaging using SCCM, PowerShell, and PSADT.
    • Strong experience with Windows 10/11 and Windows Server application installation, testing, remediation, and deployment automation.
    • Experience collaborating across teams to standardize packaging processes and support Intune migration initiatives.
    • Minimum 5 years of combined education and/or work experience in systems design, management, or architecture.
    • Strong knowledge of server/client and virtual technologies.
    • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with an understanding of how supported technologies interact across systems and services.

    Preferred Skills:

    • College degree.
    • 5+ years of professional experience in a technical engineering role involving infrastructure design, system design, or development for complex applications.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Cultivating relationships with internal claims staff, policyholders, attorneys, agents, and various service providers while working toward optimal outcomes for the organization and policyholders.
    • Providing high-level technical expertise in the handling of complex and high-exposure liability and extra-contractual claims.
    • Managing a pending inventory of complex, high-exposure claims including commercial umbrella, excess liability, multi-party catastrophic injury, property damage, and construction defect claims.
    • Staying current on case law developments, statutory changes, and regulatory updates impacting liability claims and coverage interpretation.
    • Serving as a training and informational resource for casualty and litigation claim representatives and claim management.
    • Managing assigned high-exposure claims through full disposition, including investigation, litigation management, evaluation, settlement authority procurement, negotiation, risk transfer and coverage guidance, and Large Loss Committee presentations.
    • Ensuring proper reinsurance reporting and communication.
