About the Job
Due to a major, multi-year system conversion, our client is seeking to add an additional Software Tester to join their growing QA team. Software Testers are responsible for ensuring that the new system maintains the functionality and workflows critical to their business. Testing is primarily manual, user acceptance testing (UAT) and post implementation testing with the goal of identifying and creating automated testing where possible.
Will work with business units to create effective test plans. Post migration, there is a steady stream of report requests and changes as product lines change.
Opportunity to learn SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL.
Software Testers also assist with Help Desk calls when external users have issues accessing the portal (password resets, etc) assist with Help Desk calls when external users have issues accessing the portal
Requirements
- Associates degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 1+ years of experience as a QA software tester or similar role
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
