Lead Snowflake DBA
Pay Range: $95-115/hour
Long Term Contract or Contract to hire role

Role Overview
- Lead Snowflake DBA role requiring strong Snowflake expertise and deep hands-on technical experience.
- This is a technical leadership role, focused on leading from a technology and architecture standpoint.
- No direct people management initially, with the potential to evolve into a people leadership role over time.
Location Requirements
- Role is hybrid only.
- Must be based in or able to work hybrid from:
- Buffalo, NY (preferred), or
- Wilmington, DE
Technical Focus & Responsibilities
- Acts as the technical lead for Snowflake-related initiatives and architecture.
- Comfortable working in modern DevOps environments and development workflows.
- Able to write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Version control tools (Git)
- Configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible
- Infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform
- Experience with modern CI/CD and code-based deployment practices.
Required Technical Experience
- 5- 6 Years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Azure cloud experience is critical.
- Strong Linux administration background.
- Comfortable working with modern tooling, automation, and code-driven infrastructure.
Industry Background
- Banking/financial services experience is a plus but not required.
- Experience in other regulated industries (e.g., healthcare) is beneficial but not mandatory.
