About the Job

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for the Cisco Catalyst & Nexus platform from the network core to the network edge comprised of 100 switches and 40 routers. This includes:

• Configuring and patching Cisco routers & switches (4000, 4500, ASR)
• Leading network related projects and mentoring/directing other engineers.
• Assisting Systems Engineering team as needed
• Providing recommendations for design & process improvements
• Level III escalation point

Opportunity to lead and/or contribute to a variety of projects including:

• SD-WAN installation
• Automation opportunities
• Leveraging more features of M365

Requirements

• 7+ years in Cisco networking including configuring switches and routers
• Any systems experience a plus  (Windows servers, Linux , VMware, Azure AD)
• ASA Firewall experience preferred
• Security / hardening  experience a plus
• Natural problem solver that enjoys troubleshooting, continuous learning with a knack for writing/documenting
