About the Job

The Software QA Manger will oversee the company’s four person QA team that is responsible for both automated and manual testing.  In this position, you will play a key role in expanding the company’s current QA practice and drive more automation of software products.  Upcoming testing projects will focus on transportation scheduling and deploying mobile apps to the field

Day to Day Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee Quality Assurance team and provide guidance, mentoring, and training
  • Along with your team, evaluate proposed software changes and what their impact may be on performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Define, implement, and maintain quality assurance methodologies and processes 
  • Ensure that performance and scalability is an integral component of all test strategies and project plans
  • Ensure approved software development standards, processes and procedures are adhered to and make recommendations on the adoption of industry best-practices
  • Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities


  • 7+ years of software QA testing (both manual and automated)
  • Proven ability to create and improve standard processes, measure and document value and what success looks like in the QA space.
  • Knowledge of automated testing tools like TestComplete, Selenium, UFT, or similar
  • Knowledge of manual testing tools such as Jira, Zephyr (test management) or similar
  • Strong Agile background is a definite plus
