Software Developer

Due to explosive growth, our well established client is adding Software Developers to their team.  You will work on a variety of projects for small to large sized clients in the WNY area and beyond.

Responsible for developing and maintaining external and possibly internal customized programs; developing code; working with the application design process and taking part in code reviews.

Responsible for the design, implementation, analysis and modifications of systems for various applications. Works with users to define system requirements and resolve problems.

Must be able to write specifications, quotes, estimates, statements of work, and proposals; design and develop data requirements documentation; and provide methodologies to reduce complex tasks to simpler ones for the purpose of evaluation.

Responsible for understanding and applying new technologies.

Responsible for keeping current with the latest software development methodologies and paradigms.

Possess the ability to develop software based on the description of business logic.

Requires the ability to work and produce the desired results without the need for close supervision.

Must be able to take on new responsibilities and function independently within a team environment.

Needs to be able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.

Has to be able to juggle and balance numerous software development projects concurrently.

Must possess very good communications and people skills.
