The Opportunity

In partnership with the Global ERP Implementation Program Manager, this Project Manager will play a  key role in a 3-5 year strategic transformation program, working directly with senior stakeholders across all major business functions to standardize and optimize business processes across global operations.  Project stakeholders are primarily evaluating Oracle Cloud (Fusion) and SAP S/4 HANA.

This role offers:

• Project oversight including project administration activities for a large-scale ERP implementation affecting operations across North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia
•  Oracle Cloud (Fusion) and SAP S/4HANA
• Initial project phase will focus on creation of a global template and standardizing business processes across Finance, HR, Manufacturing / Supply Chain, Procurement and other core functions
• Collaboration with diverse teams across multiple international locations.
• Growth potential within a long-term strategic program

While this role requires a significant commitment and the ability to accommodate global collaboration outside of standard business hours at times, our client supports the flexible scheduling needed to maintain work/life balance.  Having said that, on occasion international travel will be required at key project phases (go-live, etc) that could be a week or more at a time but would be planned well in advance.

Key Responsibilities of Global ERP Project Manager

• Drive the creation and implementation of global templates and standardized business processes across international locations
• Coordinate cross-functional meetings and facilitate collaboration between business units, IT teams, and implementation partners
• Manage vendor relationships, including implementation partnership and ongoing governance
• Lead documentation efforts and ensure alignment across global stakeholders
• Execute project management fundamentals including schedule management, status reporting, and risk mitigation
• Support business process workshops and drive decisions to standardization
• Coordinate with global teams across multiple time zones

Required Qualifications

This role will be the primary Project Manager reporting to the Program Manager.  Project Managers are responsible for all  project administration aspects of Project Management.

• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience with at least one example of a recent full cycle, multi-year enterprise ERP implementation through go-live. (ie. Oracle ERP, Oracle Fusion, SAP S/4 HANA or similar
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with PMP certification preferred
• Demonstrated success in business process standardization and global template creation
• Strong facilitation skills and ability to drive decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, SmartSheet) and Microsoft Office suite
• Experience working with global teams and managing across time zones
• Creating and maintaining project documentation (charter, plans, requirements), managing the budget, updating project schedules and timelines, tracking milestone completion, scheduling and organizing project meetings
• Outstanding communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts to business audiences
• Ability to travel internationally for key project phases (go-live, UAT, etc.)

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Track record of successful large-scale digital transformation ERP projects specifically including manufacturing processes (Supply Chain, etc.)
• Comfort with flexible work hours to facilitate global collaboration
• Strong understanding of business workflows across multiple departments
• Experience in vendor management
• Comfortable presenting  project updates on video to a large group including C-level executives.

• Compensation includes an annual bonus program and project based incentives in addition to base salary posted.
