About the Company

Our client is a nationally recognized subscription-based provider of educational utilities (curriculum development, web-based class delivery systems, and measurement tools for educators and students).  Although they have embraced a full-remote workplace, they have built a team of professionals who are passionate about the industry they serve and who really enjoy working together in a collaborative environment.  They are led by an incredibly humble leader who gives everyone the space and tools to do their best work.  The current team consists of developers, QA, UX/UI and Database professionals.  If you’d like to push the boundaries of development into the areas of Front-End design or Reporting or Database layout, you’ll be given that chance.  If you’d rather just focus on core .Net Development, that’s fine too!

They are open to all time zones but ideally would love to see candidates who are willing to work the core hours of 10-4:00 EST.  Candidates who are willing/able to travel to client sites in Texas, Pennsylvania and/or New York are highly desired. 

About the Job

Stability is the keyword for this position.  This team builds and maintains incredibly stable and robust code that stands up to QA and rarely needs revision post-implementation.  Because of that there’s very little or no on-call or support to be done in this role.  Instead, you’ll be focusing on development and maintenance of new development in newer versions of .Net and some upgrades in functionality to existing systems in older versions.  There is a push to bring all new development to current technologies. 


  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with Microsoft .NET Frameworks 3.x, 4.x, 5.x, 6.x, .NET Core
  • C#, ASP.NET, MVC
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA): Web Services, WCF and WebApi
  • HTML, CSS/SASS, XML, JSON, JavaScript (jQuery), AJAX, and TypeScript
  • Experience with Bootstrap, SSRS would be a plus
  • Basic source control concepts
