About the Job

**Expected to be onsite full time in Buffalo area initially, with flexibility for hybrid after acclimation period

The IT Director is a newly created role reporting to the VP of IT.  Will have oversight for IT Manager and respective staff (7-10).

As the IT Director, you will apply your leadership and experience in technology transformation to assist our client as they continue to migrate to the cloud (Azure / AWS).   You will have high visibility with executive leaders as you  review the current infrastructure & applications environment, making recommendations for future strategies & policies that will increase efficiency and automation. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Technology related field or BS with formal training in modern technology concepts.
• 5+ years of experience managing an IT department
• Demonstratable experience effectively communicating with executive leadership
• Solid working knowledge of Cybersecurity and security protocols
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure including Network/Server design, implementation, administration, and maintenance with the ability to create Standard Operating Procedures  
• Prior experience working with Azure or AWS with ability to make recommendations based on lessons learned.
• Knowledge of M365, Mobile Device Management 
• Effective Vendor Management skills for 3rd party applications and services
• Experience with budget management
