About the Job

The Help Desk Coordinator will serve as administrative support to the IT Manager and Technicians with respect to triaging IT Help Desk tickets and ensuring that they are directed to the appropriate teams.  Will also follow up on the status, update and close tickets out once resolved.

  • Will work closely with IT Technicians, reviewing and updating ticket queue to ensure open tickets are being addressed and resolved tickets have been properly documented and removed from the queue.

  • Will provide administrative support to the IT Manager with respect to Purchase Order activity.

  •  
  • Create purchase requisitions for IT assets and services; update management, project leads, and tracking systems with progress of purchases and work orders

  •  
  •  Assists in maintaining hardware and software contracts from initiation to termination.
  •

  •  
  •  
  • Assists in documenting and maintaining the processes and procedures required for an Asset Management program.
  •

  • Assists in working with vendors to obtain quotes and order hardware and software. 
  •

  • Assist in maintaining vendor software licensing portals and ensure accuracy of reporting.
  •

  • Work with IT staff throughout the asset lifecycle to ensure proper licensing, allocation, utilization, and compliance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience using Outlook, Word, Excel – Powerpoint a plus
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Strong customer service skills – not afraid to initiate communication by phone/email in order to get things done.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Assertive without being aggressive. 
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Prior experience in an IT or call center ticketing system a plus.
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  •  
  • Interested in growing within a collaborative IT Department.
