About the Client

Our client has been headquartered in Buffalo, NY for over 60 years and is part of a global organization of state of the art distribution centers.  They have a number of business lines in manufacturing including medical devices, industrial data recording, and products for Entertainment venues.   Can work from office in Buffalo, NY, Colorado Springs, CO, Norwalk, OH, Wolcott, CT.

**This position can be hybrid but will need to be in the office 25-50% of the time after initial ramp up period (30-60 days).  

About the Job

The Oracle Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for executing and sustaining  ERP technology strategy specific to Oracle Purchasing, Materials Planning & Logistics, Manufacturing, Quality and Warehouse Management.

Responsible for:

  • Partnering with  ERP & EDI implementation partners to support SCM capabilities and business objectives.
  • Capturing, analyzing and estimating business requirements and translating them into Oracle ERP solution architecture 
  • Lead complex functional/process analysis and facilitate workshops with the business and subject matter experts.
  • Lead the creation and writing off functional specs, user documentation, instructions, and procedures and test plans
  • Lead in the development and acceptance of testing standards
  • Monitor and document post-implementation problems and revision requests. 

Required Skills

  • 5+ years experience in a Business Analyst role providing functional analysis for Supply Chain business processes.
  • Solid experience with an ERP system that supports a manufacturing / supply chain management (SCM) process  (ie. SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, etc.)
  • Excellent customer facing communication skills
